The Site Superintendent will oversee the coordination and supervision of multiple commercial, industrial, and residential projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate should be organized, and have great time management with strong managerial, leadership, and client negotiation skills. Responsibilities include but aren’t limited to:


  • Completing submittals, RFl's, shop drawings, change orders, punch lists, and closeouts.

  • Develop intimate, detailed knowledge of Contract Documents, Scope Inclusions, Exclusions, Contract Deliverables

  • Develop and Manage Construction Site Supervisors, Foreman, Inventory Control, Carpenters, Laborers, and other Tranel Employees assigned to the project to execute the scope.

  • Perform Contract Administration and perform required roles pertaining to change management, quality control, planning, scheduling document control, contractual correspondence, safety, and adherence to all contractual requirements.

  • Monitor, assist, and generation of RFI responses as required.

  • Monitor payment applications and invoicing for contractors and vendors through Project Closeout.

  • Oversee design contracts/schedule if/when applicable (Design-build projects)

  • Participate in the establishment of design priorities.

  • Monitor the flow of design information between A/E, consultants, field personnel, and assigned Contractors/Vendors
  • Participate in schedule mitigation, recovery efforts, plans, and development.
  • Inspect work ongoingly to determine whether the work meets specifications and plan requirements. Monitor overall construction performance with regard to technical quality and compliance with design and specification requirements.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or similar

  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar role and a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory capacity.

  • Exceptional attention to Quality Assurance and Safety procedures and policies.

  • Intermediate computer skills in MS Office, Google Workspace, MS Project and Asana is an asset.

  • Solid knowledge of submittals, RFI’s, and shop drawings.

  • Clean police record, a valid driver’s license, and own means of reliable transportation.

  • Valid OSHA safety certificate a plus.

  • Knowledge of Bluebeam or similar scheduling software; knowledge of Builder trend is a bonus.


Salary range KYD60,750 to KYD85,050 per annum based on qualifications and experience, plus an attractive bonus scheme and statutory benefits as required by Cayman Islands Law (Medical and Pension).
