JOB SUMMARY

This position is primarily geared towards ensuring the optimizing of warehousing processes and be an effective driver. Driver/Labourer should be dependable and have excellent organizational and time management skills.

 

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

 

This position reports to the Supervisor directly.

 

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Collection of material from suppliers daily.
  • Offer suppliers outstanding service treatment by keeping to an open line of communication and serving as a connection between client and organization.
  • Fill out vehicle checklists ensuring that the vehicle is running as should and washing vehicle daily.
  • Scrutinize route sheets to establish the daily delivery quotas.
  • Assemble defective and otherwise ill-suited goods.
  • Load delivery vehicles with the aim of ensuring that all items and supplies are properly protected.
  • Maintain and tidy warehouse facilities as appointed for the purpose of keeping them in an orderly, clean, and safe state.
  • Maintain records of all collections.
  • Any other job-related duties as directed by management.

  • Conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times, treating everyone in a cordial and direct fashion. HADCO expects everyone to be treated with respect and dignity at all times.
  • Becoming familiar with the HSE procedures required to perform their jobs safely.
  • Ensuring full compliance with all applicable legislations and site regulations.
  • Attending and actively participate in scheduled HSE training meetings, toolbox talks and HSE programmes.
  • Performing all work in a safe manner.
  • Using all appropriate PPE in a correct manner.
  • Using all Safe Systems of Work available. For example Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Permits, Risk Assessments, Checklists etc.
  • Observing good housekeeping practice.
  • Reporting the taking of any medication while on the workplace to their Supervisor.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 

  1. Completion of Secondary School
  2. Ability to read and write and understand instructions

 

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

  1. 5 (Five) Ordinary Level Passes
  2. Fit physical condition
  3. Pleasant Disposition and well mannered
  4. Ability to communicate well
  5. Team Player
  6. Previous Experience in Compound Maintenance/ Landscaping


REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

 

  1. Valid Drivers License
  2. Forklift Operating License (if applicable)
  3. Certificate of Character
