ACADEMY PHYSIOTHERAPIST / SPORTS THERAPIST (CASUAL POSITION)

Support the medical needs of Academy players aged 7–16 in training and matchday settings.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide pitch-side trauma and first aid care
  • Lead or assist on injury rehabilitation, as directed by Head of Academy Medical
  • Liaise effectively with players, parents, coaches, and medical staff
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation
  • Attend internal medical CPD events
  • Follow all club medical protocols and Emergency Action Plans (EAPs)

About The Candidate

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in BSc/MSc Physiotherapy, or BSc Sports Therapy / Rehabilitation
  • FA Level 4 Intermediate Trauma Medical Management in Football (ITMMiF), or willingness to complete
  • FA Safeguarding Certificate, or willingness to complete

  • Full UK driving licence and access to independent transport
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with players, parents, and colleagues
 
SALARY
Commensurate with experience and qualifications
