The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for managing sales of the company’s products and services island-wide as well as advancing the company’s market position. The incumbent must ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning, deployment and management of sales personnel in terms of evaluating and adjusting performance, and developing processes that drive sales. He/She must identify objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short and long-term sales and earnings.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Developing and executing the organization’s strategic sales and marketing plan and budget in conjunction with the Account Executives.
Strategize and assist with the planning of the sales process management, forecasting, pricing, key account management, expenses, profitability, new product development and market research.
Effectively managing the functions of the Marketing and Sales team, while maintaining focus on the company’s strategic goals.
Conducting effective and accurate market research, monitoring trends and changes in regulations to ensure the evolution of current practices and applying this information to increase market share.
Locating and proposing potential business deals by contacting potential partners as well as discovering and exploring opportunities.
Demonstrating the ability to leverage resources and strategically manage the growth of customer relationships.
Maintaining responsibility for full sales cycle, from opportunity identification through to negotiation and close of sale, with a heavy focus on prospecting and collections.
Ensuring that sales and revenue objectives are met and/or exceeded.
Maintaining an in depth understanding of both the chemical and construction industries and its members, regulators and service providers.
Representing and promoting the organization’s image, product offerings and services.
Providing annual, quarterly and monthly management reports detailing sales performance, sales team productivity and sales forecast.
Perform any other duties assigned.
