JOB DESCRIPTION

 

POSITION:                        Cosmetic Beauty Advisor

 

REPORTS TO:                   Branch Manager

 

JOB SUMMARY:                   The Cosmetic Beauty Advisor is responsible for providing outstanding customer service establishing and maintaining customer relationships and working effectively with other team members. Additionally, the Cosmetic Beauty Advisor will focus on in-house training of other floor staff in conjunction with Branch Manager, pre-booked facial consultations, and maintaining a properly merchandised section.

 

 

1.     Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  

  • Supervise and motivate Cosmetic Team
  • Ensures efficiency and increase sales of the Cosmetic Department
  • Monitor written Cosmetic employees’ sales targets
  • Promote customer service by ensuring staff are greeting and assisting customers; responds to customer inquiries.
  • Educate the customer about the products and merchandise
  • Assist customers in locating the merchandise they require and advises customers on merchandise selection.
  • Monitor stock merchandise daily and request restock when necessary.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of all products.
  • Alert management to accidents and incidents in a timely manner.
  • Comply with all safety and operating standards.
  • Demonstrate professional make-up and treatment consultation and application.
  • Assist in counting the store's physical inventory
  • Achieve and/or surpass monthly sales targets.
  • Inform customers of deals and promotions.
  • Maintain confidentiality of the organization’s customers and data
  • Do themed day looks for staff.
  • Do In-Store promotions when required.
  • Perform other related duties as required.


Requirements


1.     Qualifications and Experience

  • Prior experience in a retail environment preferably in a customer focused cosmetics environment.
  • Previously demonstrated successful sales experience, exceeding sales quota
  • Professional Makeup application skills
  • Able to work independently, organize, plan and prioritize daily tasks with minimal supervision

2.     Skills and Competencies:

Good sense of color, design, positive and upbeat attitude communication and organizational skills, flexibility, reliability, customer oriented, ability to multitask, attention to detail, trustworthy, dependable, pleasant, team player, result driven and highly observant.

3.     Physical Requirements: 

Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds must be able to meet demands of frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling and must be able to stand for long hours. Appearance at all times must represent the Company’s Image.
